Execute a saved analysis
Maps to:
GET /v1/analyses/execute/{uuid}
If you have saved an analysis, you can run it by its identifier instead of sending the full definition each time.
Request
GET /v1/analyses/execute/{uuid}
No request body is required — the saved definition supplies everything. The
{uuid} is the analysis identifier returned when the analysis was saved (see
Managing saved analyses).
CSV output
Append .csv for a flat CSV file instead of JSON:
GET /v1/analyses/execute/{uuid}.csv
Response
Identical in shape to the definition-based execute call — see Output formats.
When to use which
- Execute a saved analysis when the definition is stable and reused (dashboards, scheduled pulls) — smaller requests, one source of truth.
- Execute a definition (
POST) when the analysis is ad-hoc or generated dynamically.
